A&L Furniture's Swingmate Comfort Springs install inline between the ceiling eye bolt and the swing chain on each side, adding a cushioning element that softens the jolt at the end of each swing arc and reduces the cyclic dynamic stress transferred to your ceiling structure. Sold as a set of two — one for each side of the swing. Compatible with all A&L porch swings and swing beds.

Do you need swing springs?

Swing springs are optional but recommended for heavy-use applications, anyone who finds the standard swing motion too abrupt at the ends, or any installation where reducing ceiling stress is a priority. The springs also serve as convenient quick-release points for seasonal swing removal — disconnect the springs and the swing drops free without removing the ceiling hardware.
