The Little Cottage Co. Value Workshop Shed – Pre-Cut Kit is built for anyone who wants natural daylight and real workspace, not just dark storage. Unlike a basic gable shed, the Workshop model comes standard with operable, shuttered windows, giving it enough light to double as a potting shed, hobby space, or backyard workshop. It's made in the USA with Amish craftsmanship, and every board ships precut, labeled, and ready to assemble — no extra cutting required.
Kit Specifications
- Available in 17 sizes, from 8'x8' up to 12'x24'
- Front and back walls: 6' high
- Windows: one operable 18" x 22" window with decorative shutters on 8'-wide units; two windows on 10'-wide and larger units
- Siding: LP SmartSide panel siding, grooved 8" on center, primed and treated to resist fungal decay and insect infestation
- Wall framing: 2x4 studs on 24" centers; roof trusses on 24" centers
- Trim: durable composite material, primed; corners finished in aluminum trim
- Pre-Cut construction — all lumber and siding arrive cut to length and labeled; screws, latches, handles, and nails are included along with a color photo instruction manual
- Floor is not included standard; an optional DIY Floor Kit can be added at checkout
- Customer supplies shingles, drip edge, and paint
The windows and lighter, more open feel set this apart from Little Cottage Co.'s plain storage sheds — it's the model to pick if you plan to spend real time inside, rather than just stacking boxes. As with the rest of the Value line, this is a precut (not panelized) kit, so you're assembling individual wall sections from labeled pieces rather than pre-built panels — a bit more assembly time, but a lower price point. Budget separately for shingles, paint, and a floor if your chosen site doesn't already have a slab or base.

Returns & warranty
Most items can be returned within 14 days of delivery in original, unused condition with all original packaging and an RMA number issued by us. A few product types aren't eligible for return -- custom or made-to-order items, cushions with a specified fabric selection, and any product that has been assembled, installed, or used. Manufacturer warranty documentation is included with each product.
