Pennfield Cottage Playhouse - Panelized Kit with Floor & Chimney

The Pennfield Cottage Playhouse pairs classic cottage styling with genuine curb appeal: a wide, 3-foot-deep covered front porch with railing gives kids (and parents watching from the yard) a shaded spot to sit, plus twin dormers and flower boxes that make it look like a scaled-down real house. At 9' x 8', it's one of Little Cottage Co.'s more spacious panelized playhouse kits, with enough interior room for real furniture, a play kitchen, or a reading corner.

What's Included

• 9' W x 8' L footprint, 8'3.25" exterior peak height, 7'3.5" interior peak height
• 4'4.5" sidewalls, 12/12 roof pitch, roughly 48 sq ft of interior play space
• Covered front porch (3' deep) with railing and 2 decorative dormers
• 2 working 14"x21" tempered-glass windows with screens
• Adult-size door (34"W x 61.5"H) and child-size dutch door (20"W x 41.125"H)
• Flower boxes and decorative chimney
• 2x3 wood stud wall framing with primed LP SmartSide siding, ready to paint
• Complete floor kit included; this listing does not include the optional interior loft

Like the rest of the LCC panelized line, the Pennfield ships as pre-built, pre-primed wall panels with siding and trim already attached and every piece labeled — no on-site cutting required. Little Cottage Co. estimates 2 adults can assemble a panelized kit in about 4 to 8 hours depending on size and skill level; at 9x8, plan for the higher end of that range, likely closer to a full day. You'll need to supply shingles, drip-edge, and exterior paint.

The covered porch makes the Pennfield a natural fit for families who want their playhouse to double as an outdoor gathering spot — tea parties, reading time, or simply a shaded perch to watch the yard. It's a substantial backyard addition and a memorable gift for a child who's outgrown smaller playhouses.
