Why poly lumber?
HDPE poly lumber is manufactured from recycled high-density polyethylene plastic. Unlike wood, it doesn't absorb moisture, rot, splinter, warp, or fade — and the color runs through the full board thickness, not just a surface coating. A&L's poly swing beds are built with the same Marlboro profile as the wood models but engineered for complete weather immunity. The Marlboro highback design is A&L's classic — vertical back slats, clean straight top rail, generous seat depth. As a swing bed, the Marlboro is wide enough to lie flat comfortably and long enough for a standard-height adult. It seats 2–3 people upright or accommodates 2 adults lying side by side.
